PEAS Big Give 2025: A Seat in the Classroom, a Future Unlocked
Please join us at the University Women's Club on Wednesday, the 3rd of December 2025, for a night of celebration, drinks, and fundraising to help us provide a seat in the classroom for those who need it most. With your help, brick by brick, PEAS is fundraising for the construction of a three-classroom block at PEAS Bwesumbu in rural West Uganda.
In Uganda, nearly 1 in 3 girls who start primary education never reach secondary. Distance, poverty, and early marriage force girls to give up on their education before they begin.
At PEAS Bwesumbu, the story is different. Girls are learning and thriving, but the school is now full. When places run out, girls risk never starting secondary at all – missing the chance of a better future.
Educated girls marry later, earn more, and lift their communities. It all starts with a seat in the classroom.
