Event Details

As executives consider how augmented intelligence (AI) is applied in the area of Cyber Security, many are concerned about their enterprise readiness for emergent technologies.

ISACA London Chapter are pleased to invite Security Leaders and cyber security decision makers to join this exciting debate.

Inspiring and practical AI use cases are emerging on a daily basis, though some questions still concern senior managers: How security leaders can harness the power of augmented intelligence to decrease the time to detect and respond to cyber threats? But where are organisations in managing risks of the AI adoption in Cyber Security? What are the challenges for addressing the cyber security skills gap?

This event will bring together forward security leaders, decision makers and AI subject matter experts to explore the advancements in Augmented Intelligence and enterprise cyber security.

Case Studies of AI applications

The impacts of the AI strategy decisions have far-reaching implications on the continued viability of enterprises, their digital strategy and cyber security posture. We reflect on the successful applications of AI in a range of industries and highlight opportunities as well as risk mitigation strategies.

Deconstruction of a Security Breach

Enterprises have had their security solutions tested by increasingly sophisticated cybercriminals. This live reconstruction of a security breach and SOC operation will illustrate hands-on detection, forensics and remediation in keeping enterprise secure.

AI or Cognitive: Where humans draw the line?

Cognitive computing is stepping up enterprise defences in the fight against cybercrime. What is the core difference between AI and Cognitive?  Rob High, IBM’s CTO for Watson put it, “What it’s really about is involvement of a human in the loop,” and he described Watson as “augmented intelligence” rather than artificial intelligence. This talk will look at the applications of cognitive tools in cyber security.
