The Headford Lace Project is a community-led initiative to revive bobbin lace-making, which has a history dating back to the 1700s in Headford, County Galway. A sample of Headford Lace from Headford Castle, dated 1904 has been found and the group is researching the history of this craft in the region as well as collaborating with artists and community groups to bring new life to the story." and Headford Lace: History & Revival A slideshow and lace-display by members of The Headford Lace Project with questions and answers session.
