A Service to celebrate Christian witness in Advent
Overview
A Service to celebrate Christian witness in Advent will be held in Westminster Abbey at 11:15 am on Wednesday, 10th December 2025.
The service will rejoice with Christian communities worldwide; celebrating their witness to the promise of Jesus Christ in the Advent season, and praying with them for the coming of his Kingdom of justice and peace. Eminent figures from the worldwide church will take part.
The Abbey doors will open at 9.30am for those wishing to attend. Members of the congregation are asked to be seated by 10:30am at the latest. Please allow time to pass through security. The security level for this service will be high and those attending will need to bring photographic identification (such as a passport or driving licence) matching names submitted via the Eventbrite page where you register for tickets.
Please keep baggage to a minimum. Large baggage will not be accepted at the point of entry to the Abbey, so other planning arrangements separate from the Abbey should be made please beforehand. There is a baggage facility at Victoria Station.
