Event description

Description

A Service to celebrate the contribution of Christians in the Middle East will be held at Westminster Abbey at 5.00pm on Tuesday 4th December 2018.

The service will offer encouragement to the Christian communities of the Middle East; remember suffering, endurance and hope; and also celebrating the contributions of Christians to their communities throughout the region.

The Abbey doors will open at 4.00 pm for those wishing to attend. Members of the congregation are asked to be seated by 4.45 pm at the latest. Please allow time to pass through security. The security level for this service will be high and those attending will need to bring photographic identification (such as a passport or driving licence) matching names submitted via the Eventbrite page where you register for tickets.

Please keep baggage to a minimum. Large baggage is unlikely to be accepted at the point of entry to the Abbey, so other planning arrangements separate from the Abbey should be made please beforehand.

To attend the Service, click on REGISTER above. You may apply for up to four free tickets online. Having done so, click on GENERAL ADMISSION, choose to apply for your tickets giving the information requested, then click on CHECKOUT on the next screen. A link to your ticket (s) will be sent to the email address that you enter and you can print them off ready for the day itself. If you do not have access to a printer, you may take an image on a phone and show that at the point of entry.
