A Social Enterprise Strategy for Moray Starts Now.
Event Information
Description
Moray’s Social Enterprise Network (MSEN) run by tsiMoray and Highlands and Islands Enterprise are hosting a planning and networking session on Thursday December 5th at Horizon Scotland to kick start a local plan for Moray’s social enterprises.
To help us on our way, Kim Wallace, Networks and Development Manager from SENSCOT will give an update on the Scotland's current national Social Enterprise Strategy and current developments. Elizabeth Doherty, Director of the Glasgow Social Enterprise Network, will also join us to tell us how they developed a vision and strategy to support Glasgow’s social enterprises.
A review of Scotland’s current Social Enterprise Strategy is now underway, 3 years on from its inaugural launch. An action plan is now being devised for the next three years. We are asking you -- the social enterprises and social entrepreneurs of Moray -- to feed into this action plan, and to set your own course through the development of a local strategy.
Please join us, and please bring your questions, issues and aspirations to the table. Whether you’re just starting up, or a well- established business, we welcome, need and value your input.
This will be a 'doing' day to develop a doing document. A festive lunch will be provided.
Moray needs a social enterprise strategy.
