The West Oxfordshire & Cherwell Business SPARK programme is designed to help you to start your brilliant new business! And its all FREE to you!

This support will be engaging and fun, and it is proven to work: nearly 100 people joined our SPARK programme in 2024/25 and at least 50 of them are now running their own ambitious businesses.

This short webinar will introduce you to the Business SPARK programme and provide you with the five key actions you should take to get ahead before the programme has even started.

People like you on our SPARK programme join 5 half-day workshops, the first workshop is delivered face to face / in-person. Workshops 2, 3, 4 and 5 are delivered online. The workshops will be 2-3 hours long and delivered in the morning.

Ant Parsons (Enterprise Oxfordshire Business and ALP Synergy Ltd)

Ant designs and facilitates a wide range of business support programmes for small businesses. He is a business and environmental innovator, who uses his creative leadership to help organisations think differently about problems and opportunities. Ant has started five of his own businesses in the last 15 years, but has focussed it down to one now. He has a passion for supporting sustainable business growth in Oxfordshire and an indepth knowledge of the business support community.

Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme

The Growth Hub programme operates a Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme. All SMEs which receive support under this programme are being aided under the UK Subsidy Control Act (2022) and The Subsidy Control (Gross Cash Amount and Gross Cash Equivalent) Regulations (2022 No. 1186).

MFA allows a beneficiary to receive up to £315,000 of Subsidy over a three-fiscal year period (i.e. the current and previous two fiscal years). The value of MFA given is the gross cash amount or the gross cash equivalent of the subsidy. The MFA value of this webinar is £0
