Exlpore the stunning embroideries in the Cathedral Quire with stories , some with hidden meanings, and events all related to its 800 years of history, told in these unique works of art.

Why not book an experience and hear about some of its Bishops and enjoy a unique insight of just what has happened, and look up close at the love and skills of its embroiders?

Knowledgeable guides will also show you the full set of magnificent altar frontals made to celebrate the Millennium as part of this fascinating tour.

The maximum group size for this tour is 12, and the tour will last approximately 1 hour

Bookings can be made via Eventbrite up to 24 hours prior to the tour taking place. Want to make a last minute booking? Call us on 01749 671663 or ask at the Welcome Desk on the day of your visit.

Where to meet your guide

Check in at the Welcome Desk in the New Entry Cloister. A few minutes before your tour start time a Guide will meet you and take you to the tour start point

Do I have to bring my printed ticket ?

No, if you have the booking confirmation on your phone you can show it at the Donation Desk on arrival, or give your name when registering.
