We will be working at Funges Meadow. Meet us onsite at 6pm at the gated entrance on Bowden Lane. There isn't much parking available on Bowden Lane, and residents may get upset if you park there. There is free parking on Keep Hill Road, or paid parking is available at the Rye. The nearest postcode is: HP11 1DL.
W e will finish at approximately 8pm.
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:
Today we will carrying out a variety of practical conservation tasks. There will be something suitable for all ages and abilities. Come and help your local widlife.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
18.00: Arrival on site for safety briefing, please don’t be late!
19.00: Tea & coffee break, we will bring a tea kit and biscuits
20.00: Work finishes for the day, time to go home, thank you!!
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there is thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. You may need a hat and suncream if it's sunny.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Access: Funges is a flat site and accessible for all.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
