Event description
Be the first to try the food from the exciting new Brighton opening - Kindling Restaurant.

About this Event

Kindling Restaurant, opening soon in Brighton promises to surprise, delight and stimulate with ‘being kind’ at the core of every creation.

Ahead of the opening, the Kindling team are running a weekend of supper clubs; offering you the chance to preview dishes from the upcoming seasonal menu paired with laid back hospitality and expertly matched wine at the ‘Taste of Kindling Supper Club’.

Serving food that is good for the soul and kind to the environment, diners at the communal table will feast on a menu of plant based dishes and ethical meat and sustainable fish.

The six course menu will be the first preview of what to expect when you visit the restaurant, with an introduction from your hosts restaurant owners Jane & Ramin Mostowfi, front of house Phillip Scott and in the kitchen Holly Taylor & Toby Geenen. Held at the Brighton Community Kitchen. Expect a relaxed evening where good food connects us with friends, community and our environment over a glass of wine

The Menu

The team have been out foraging in the countryside over the summer to bring you dishes that utilise the best of Sussex grown produce, preserving and fermenting the seasons, and enriched by fire.

At a ‘Taste of Kindling’ you will be the first to try creations such as tender grilled radicchio with pear, Molecombe blue and candied walnuts, or the salsify with carrot & rose puree and white bean & chervil, or for meat lovers the divine Saddlescombe lamb with pickled carrot and preserved tomato tartare. The dinner will end with Wigmore cheese followed by a delicious chocolate crémeux.

A Taste of Kindling Supper club includes:

  • Arrival drink and selection of Kindling bar snacks
  • 6-course menu
  • Optional wine and drinks matching (non alcoholic pairing also available).
  • An exclusive invitation to Kindling’s official autumn opening
