Last year, Equal Education Partners led a delegation of Welsh further education leaders to visit Silicon Valley and Stanford University to explore the opportunities presented by, and implications of, artificial intelligence on the education sector 

Following this collaborative visit funded by Taith, we are excited to launch our report:

Collaborative visit overview

As part of a Taith-funded strategic partnership led by Equal Education Partners between Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and the Welsh Further Education (FE) sector, a delegation of Welsh FE leaders undertook a five-day mobility visit to Stanford University.

The project aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange in the rapidly evolving field of AI in education, enabling Welsh FE colleges to access cutting-edge research, tools, and programmes. This supported the sector in embracing innovations that enhance learning outcomes.

This immersive experience deepened understanding of AI’s potential within the FE context and informed the findings presented in our report, A Thematic Review of AI in Welsh Education: Opportunities, Challenges, and Strategic Implications.
