A Thornton Wander Guided Walk

Wander around Thornton le Dale on this 1.6-mile walk with Mike Winterflood and learn about the history of the village, regarded by many as the prettiest in Yorkshire. Discover how Lady Lumley improved the lives of the young and the poor, and investigate the 14th-century church’s connection with Napoleon. P

Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
