About this event

The session will be facilitated by Natascha Windheuser and Matt Merriam, creators of the TICA Tool. Natascha and Matt are both experienced in providing mental health support to those who have experienced trauma, community development, and system change through relational centred practice.Over the course of the three hour workshop, we will:- Introduce The TICA Tool, including its trauma informed values, trauma recovery pathway, and community development practices to aid local change. This will include hearing about why this tool could make a difference for your community and people living with the impact of trauma.*Participants will be given the opportunity to review the TICA Tool in advance of the workshop.- Facilitate discovering which parts of the systems we are each involved in would most benefit from using this tool, and what a plan to implement that assessment might look like. This segment will be interactive and create an opportunity to look at using the TICA Tool in your context.- Begin creating a community of practice, or impact network, to journey together through using this tool in our respective spaces and communities. If you have any questions ahead of time, please feel free to reach out to Matt at matt.merriam@colabexeter.org.uk
