LCF’s Scottish Committee are delighted to present “A Time to Speak”, a conference in Perth on 27 April 2024, to encourage Christian lawyers and others to use their opportunities and freedoms to speak of Jesus.
John Stevens, National Director of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) and a former legal academic will discuss why Christian lawyers should speak.
Murdo Fraser MSP will explain his own experiences of being an influence for Christ in the Scottish Parliament.
Janys Scott KC will talk about defending the right to speak in courts.
We will be joined in a panel session by Shona Haslam, chief executive of Logos Scotland, an organisation that exists to build a culture, founded in Christian faith, that empowers those in public sphere to seek truth.
