Event description

Description

Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme.

Climb the slopes of the Hambleton Hills with Richard Culmer, heading along Windygill Ridge to an ancient drove road whilst enjoying panoramic views. You’ll pass High and Low Paradise Farms into the valley of Lunshaw Beck, and visit the lovely village of Boltby. Strenuous hills and stiles: an appropriate level of fitness and stamina required.

This 9-mile route includes steep ascents and descents (pavements, roads and steps). Varied and uneven surfaces.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Packed lunch required. Sorry, no dogs.

Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.

Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
