Trio Farben presents, 'A Vaughan Williams Celebration'.

Join Trio Farben and soprano Maddy Morris for an evening concert inspired by the creative legacy of Ralph and Ursula Vaughan Williams.

This richly textured programme includes staple chamber works by Vaughan Williams alongside three folk songs that he helped to preserve. Complimented by pieces by Arnold Bax and Maurice Ravel, two composers and friends who are often noted as personal influences to Vaughan Williams' compositions. At its heart is a new commission by Imogen Davey, a setting of Ursula Vaughan Williams' poem Penelope for voice and trio.
