Middle Temple would like to extend a warm invitation to all to attend A Very British Fire a rude and raucous show to celebrate the salvation of Middle Temple Hall from the Great Fire of London, which stopped in Inner Temple.
There will be a champagne reception and black tie Restoration Dinner in the Library followed by an hour’s performance. The Master Treasurer of Middle Temple has asked Anthony Arlidge QC to organise the entertainment and surprisingly this has turned into an all singing, all dancing extravaganza, with a script from the pen of acclaimed playwright and novelist Gary O’Connor, original music and lyrics composed and performed by Victoria Arlidge and an all-star cast of the Inn’s finest performers including Anthony Arlidge QC as Samuel Pepys. A Very British Fire looks set to live long in the memory.
Timings for the Evening will be 18:30.
