About this event

Join us for our Very Festive MeetCute Xmas party!

A relaxed and friendly event with very limited capacity - come and catch up with friends you made at the summer festival as we have a few drinks and snacks, browse some stalls, and buy some very Christmassy books!

Whether you're a reader, an author or both, we'd love you to join our beautiful space in The Hearth in Queens Park, North London as we have a good old natter and get in the festive spirit!

We'll be doing our standard raffle, have some winter cocktails, and there may even be the chance to blag a few ARCs from publishers. We'll be sure to have a few meetcute surprises in store!

We'll also be promoting three very special Christmas books coming out around the time, so stay tuned to learn more about those books and their authors!!

Your ticket includes a welcome drink of either prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative!

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell my books?

If you're an author with a Xmas book out, you are welcome to bring some copies with you and sell them directly! We won't be running a meetcute bookshop on this occasion, but publishers may be selling three main books we've agreed to promote.

Is the site dog friendly?

No we're afraid not.

Is the site accessible?

We will be on the ground floor, I believe it is accessible but will confirm about ramps and access. There are accessible toilets.

Will there be stalls?

A couple! Our venue is smaller but we know how popular some of our summer vendors were, so a few of them will be back!

Is there food?

Just nibbles, which are complimentary. Think crisps etc. We know it's a very short time to catch up with everyone, so we recommend having a meal in one of the amazing local restaurants before you join us. Or going on for a drink after!

It's our THIRD YEAR in 2026 and we can't believe how much we've grown! We'll be welcoming 500 romance readers and writers in Home Farm Glamping on Sat 4th July 2026 to celebrate all things romance writing. That means panels, Q+As, industry talks, workshops, book signings, bookish stalls, great food, pub quizzes and lots of interactive delights and surprises in store! Don't miss out!
