Join us at Pinsent Masons on Tuesday 24th November 2015, 6 pm to 8.30 pm for a stimulating evening of strategic debate and exploration around the future of work; showcasing CIPD’s thinking on the future of our profession.
Profession for the Future (PFF) is the CIPD’s strategy to ensure we continue to fulfil our purpose as the world of work evolves. It begins with a programme of work to define what it will take for the HR profession of the future to meet its full potential to champion better work and working lives - for the benefit of individuals, businesses, economies and society.
This session will present and debate the research findings on what ‘good’ people management and development means. The research gathered views of nearly 10,000 HR practitioners, business leaders, and line managers in UK, US, Middle East and Asia about their practice today and in the future.
Our speaker for this event is John McGurk, Head of Scotland for CIPD taking up the post in October 2013, after 6 years in the research team, specialising in skills and learning. John leads on policy, labour market and skills issues in Scotland and Northern Ireland and works with other regional heads to develop the regional approach of CIPD.
Professional photography and video production will be taking place at the event, and these images may be used on future promotional materials for CIPD. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any CIPD promotional materials.
