A Walk Around the Dam Guided Walk
Sun 3 September 2017, 11:00 – 13:00 BST
Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme. Graham Longstaff leads you on a gentle 3.8-mile walk circumnavigating the decommissioned reservoir and nature reserve of Scaling Dam.
The largest expanse of open water in the National Park is now a haven for wildlife, and there will also be a short detour onto the moor to enjoy the heather.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
