This walk starts at Margate train station from where we make our way down to golden sand, blue flag Margate beach. We head along the coastal path towards Joss Bay, quiet, unassuming with just the sea views and seagulls for company before taking a break at Kingsgate with its majestic castle dominating the clifftop. Our lunchtime stop is at Broadstairs where we take in the quaint seaside atmosphere and pick up fish and chips if we so desire. Our walk finishes at Ramsgate where we wander amongst the moored boats in the harbour before finishing our day at one of the harbour front pubs for a drink or two.
