As part of the research project 4Cs From Conflict to Conviviality, the School of Arts and Humanities have co-organised an online panel discussion which takes place on 26 November, 5-7pm in collaboration with Gasworks.
'A Way of Working Together’ Collaborative, Participatory and Decolonial Institutional Practices brings together a series of practitioners working with Latin American communities in different geographies (Brasil, Bolivia and UK) and looking at collaboration, participation and decolonianity from a situated managerial and curatorial position.
Building from their experiences of working with indigenous and nonindigenous peoples, this event will further address strategies, positions and questions that emerge when making art public within the exhibition space.
4Cs From Conflict to Conviviality (2018-2021) is a transnational project exploring how training and education in art and culture can reflect on, and respond to, conflict through audience participation and co-production. It is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union & the 4Cs Partners.
