Description
ALL London organises webinars for the MFL community and this webinar is open to all MFL teachers. We hope that you will like us and want to join!
The ALL London Branch are proud to host this free webinar on behalf of ALL nationally.
In this session, Nick Mair (mairn@dulwich.org.uk) will focus on activities and stepping stone qualifications to encourage take up and success in a GCSE MFL. He will indicate where free materials can be found as well as how to apply for free or heavily discounted Chartered Institute of Linguists qualifications suitable for Yrs 9-11. These are activities to both enthuse students as well as provide indications of likely student performance in listening and reading comprehensions at GCSE. The activities are likely to appeal to students who may not be traditionally motivated by MFL – but at the higher levels will stretch and engage the most able.
There will be a chance for attendees to share their CLIL technology ideas and the webinar is open to everyone - whatever your tech starting point or resources available!
David Shanks will moderate this webinar.
