An Intro to everything Photography

Learning the basics of photography through how your camera works and its settings we'll apply this knowledge across several genres of Photography including Landscape, Macro, Portrait and several more.

At the end of the 12 weeks, you will be comfortable taking your camera out in most scenarios and how to capture what it is front of you.

Worksheets will be completed during the course and homework tasks will be given to help you understand the theory side.

A relaxed, fun course full of photos, cameras and photographers.

This course is aimed at complete Novices or Beginners.

Do I need a Digital Camera

Yes, to get the most out of this course a DSLR Camera is required

Will there be homework?

Yes, each session we will looking into the History, Photographers and different genres.The genres will be landscapes, Macro, Portrait where we will learn how to use your camera to best suit these. The homework will be to practice what you have learnt.

What if I miss a week

The sessions will have worksheets and it will be easy enough to catch up

Is there parking on site

There is free parking at St Johns Car Park just behind the Scribble studio about 5 mins walk

Will I receive a qualification

Yes I am currently in the process of getting the courses accredited and this will enable you to receive a qualification recognisable in the Photographic Industry

Are there exams?

No the Assessment will be done by course work. Showing an understanding of what you have learnt during sessions and also a 10 photo Portfolio from a subject of your choice to show you understand how to use your camera and take the photos.
