Description

Join us for our second Chartered College of Teaching hub meeting for anyone involved in education who has an interest in SEND, Inclusion and Vulnerable Learners. Everyone is invited to join and shape the network regardless of the age, stage or phase that you teach. Come and join likeminded colleagues, forge new relationships and engage in thinking, dialogue and discussion! Plus- be in it to win it! £150 raffle prize kindly donated by Rising Stars must be won!

Programme Outline:

3.45pm: Registration, reading and refreshments.

4.00pm: Welcome by Nicola Brooks, Lead Advocate for the CCT and Network Lead.

4.10pm: Main presentation and workshop from Mary Taylor Emotional Health at School Consultant for Family Links: A Universal Whole School Approach to Emotional Health can be proactive and supportive for all.

Family Links is a national charity dedicated to empowering children, parents, families, schools and workplaces to be emotionally healthy. https://familylinks.org.uk/

Mary has been a Senior Leader in Education for over 20 years, most recently as Deputy Head at the Dragon School in Oxford where she had responsibility for Social and Emotional Learning across the school. Previously Mary taught in senior schools and in special schools and has held various Senior Leadership positions including Safeguarding Lead and Head of PSHEE, as well as Family Links Parent Group Leader, working with children, parents, staff, governors, HR and external services. Over the last 20 years she has developed a particular interest in what it takes to lead an emotionally healthy culture in schools where relationships and learning can flourish.

Break- refreshments and networking

5.45pm: Updates from the room, discussion and reflection.

6pm: Close and raffle, with prize kindly donated by Rising Stars @risingstarsedu

Refreshments are provided, but if you are able to make a voluntary donation to help cover resources and refreshments then it would be much appreciated.

This event is free for Chartered College of Teaching members.

There is a £5 charge for non-Chartered College of Teaching members.
