Description

This event is now sold out

Two wonderfully evocative pieces, Howard Blake's The Snowman and Prokofiev's Winter Bonfire make the perfect Winter treat whatever your age - young or not quite so young. This concert, with the Orchestra of St John, Bromsgrove, and the children of Alvechurch Middle School, together with conductor Richard Jenkinson, narrator Brian Williams, and soloist Daniel Munn, is brought to you by the Friends of St Johns Church. Join us in Bromsgrove's historic landmark church, for a cosy evening of Winter Fantasy!

Programme
Blake: The Snowman
Prokofiev: Winter Bonfire Suite

Doors open at 6pm. Come along for a selfie with The Snowman, warm up by the bonfire and enjoy a hot chocolate and a snowman treat before the performance.

Parking
Parking is limited to disabled only, by the church. However, there is on street parking on Kidderminster Road and Church Lane, and also in the town centre car parks 300m away.

Access
The church is on a hill, and so may be a challenge for those with limited mobility, however, wheelchair access is possible - enter by Market Street, by Amphlett Hall.

It may be advisable to bring a torch, as the paths around the church are not well-lit.
