A winter walk around Hogganfield Loch

About this event
The reserve includes herb-rich grassland, hedges, marshy ponds, scrub, woodland and the large loch itself. Hogganfield’s accumulated bird list includes over 140 species and on most visits, recorders note 25 to 30 species at any time of the year. The loch is particularly favoured by waterfowl in winter. Meet in the reserve car park.
Booking essential. Adults only and no dogs except assistance dogs allowed please. Bring binoculars and suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Parking nearby, accessible by public transport. To find out more, and for any booking queries, please contact Clare Winsch on 0141 339 9601.
