Welcome to A Wisdom of Wombats: Empowering Female Entrepreneurs!

Did you know the collective noun for a group of wombats is a wisdom? How fitting! Just like these clever and resilient creatures, women in the entrepreneurial world can thrive by sharing wisdom and experiences. This event aims to bridge that gap by creating a collective where wisdom is shared and connections are made.

This will be our fifth Wisdom of Wombats session. These gatherings are small, real, and full of meaningful conversation.

Session Topic: What is your business strategy? From Firefighting to Focus - Business Strategy for Real-World Female Entrepreneurs.

Guest Speaker: Chenai Gondo, Proptech & Impact Investor, M&A Advisor, Business Transformation Leader.

Chenai Gondo is a business strategist, transformation, and operations leader with expertise at the intersection of real estate, technology, and sustainability. She has held leadership and executive-level roles in diverse organizations, from publicly listed businesses to early stage startups, and has a proven track record of founding and scaling impactful ventures.

Today, she is a proptech and impact venture investor, committed to championing sustainable and ethical innovation. She believes that transforming industries for the better requires bold thinking, a deep sense of purpose, and the courage to challenge the status quo.

Her contributions have been recognized by several industry awards (EG, UKPA, Bisnow), and she is frequently invited to guest lecture at leading UK universities.

Now, she's sharing the business strategies that are often missing from the small business conversation, especially for founders stretched thin and stuck in execution mode. Drawing from her experience with Nziraxa and askChenai, she’ll offer real, no-jargon insights on how to move from firefighting to focused growth, and why strategy isn’t a luxury - it’s essential.

Originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, Chenai has worked across three continents and speaks English, German, and Shona. She is passionate about kindness, people development, and the celebration of authenticity. She’s also an avid reader of 100+ books a year (please send recommendations!), a proud mom, and, by her own declaration, no one, absolutely no one, loves karaoke more than she does.

Curious what growth really looks like behind the scenes—or navigating a crossroads yourself? Come join the conversation.
