Join Susie @wivenhoeflowers and Kay @kinship_creativedc for an exciting new workshop - a fun flower-filled day on Friday 3rd May 10-2pm. We will be starting with a tour of Susie's flower fields and polytunnel where you will be able to pick your own beautiful early summer flowers.
Susie will be sharing her knowledge and experience talking you through her flower-farming year. You will also receive a copy of Susie's 'A seasonal guide to growing your own organic flowers'. We will then move to Farthing Field where Kay will take you on a tour sharing how we have planted 1400 saplings to create a woodland, an orchard, a willow grove and bee hive corner. She will also share how she has renovated an old caravan and horse box into creative retreat spaces on the field.
Susie will lead a session on flower arranging in which you will use your freshly picked blooms from her field to create a trio of bud vases, taking home the flowers and vases to keep or gift. We will then enjoy a tasty seasonal lunch on Farthing Field at a styled table decorated with Susie's hand-grown flowers and share a glass of fizz and floral-filled creative conversation.
Parking is available, the venues are in Great Bromley near to Colchester and are within a mile of each other. Exact locations will be shared to attendees nearer the time. Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
