A zero-carbon future for village halls
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for an event sponsored by Utility Aid to hear about the support and services on offer to help your hall put in place measures that reduce its environmental impact.
Led by ACRE's Chair David Emerson CBE, the event will feature a talk by the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) which will consider what a zero-carbon future looks like, the role community buildings and the broader community can play in this, and what you can do to take action. CSE will also guide you through the variety of resources they and others have to support you with this, and show some amazing case studies from across England to inspire you!
There will also be a presentation from Utility Aid about how you can save money on energy bills, starting with a no-obligation, free energy audit. Their audit will make sure you are on the best tariff possible and are not being overestimated, that VAT and CCL is not being overcharged, you are paying for the correct consumption and are not on a Variable Business Rate.
This is a free online event held as part of Village Halls Week 2020. Once registered, we will send you an invite link to join the virtual meeting.
