Mae’r diwrnod hyfforddi yma wedi’i fwriadu ar gyfer ysgolion-athrawon / uwch reolwyr / llywodraethwyr neu pwy bynnag biau’r dasg o godi arian, ymarferwyr creadigol ac artistiaid sy’n gweithio mewn ysgolion.

Oes gennych chi brosiect penodol rydych am ei ddatblygu?
Eisiau dysgu rhagor am wahanol ffynonellau cyllid?

Os felly, dyma’r cwrs i chi!

Erbyn diwedd y gweithdy yma dylech fod yn gallu:

  • ymchwilio i amrywiaeth o gyllidwyr yn gaffaeliad i chi asesu pa un, os oes unrhyw un, sy’n cydweddu orau â chi
  • sgrifennu paragraff rhagarweiniol addas (neu ragor) sy’n amlinellu eich cynnig
  • canfod sut mae cyllidwyr ac aseswyr yn gweithio a’r prosesau allweddol a ddefnyddir yn gyffredinol gan y Loteri, Cyrff yn y Celfyddydau, Ymddiriedolaethau a Sefydliadau
  • dadansoddi amrywiaeth eich ffrydiau incwm a chanfod posibilrwydd cael cyllid dros ben gan amrywiaeth o ffynonellau a mathau (ee incwm a enillwyd, ariannu torfol, nawdd)
  • canfod iaith, arddull sgrifennu a jargon allai fod yn addas i chi

Mae Laura yn brofiadol ym maes sgrifennu ceisiadau a chodi arian, wedi codi symiau o ychydig gannoedd o bunnau hyd at ychydig gannoedd o filoedd o bunnau i ddigwyddiadau a rhaglenni yn y celfyddydau a diwylliannol dros yr ugain mlynedd aeth heibio.

Mae ei chefndir a’i gwaith yn dal i fod ym maes cynhyrchu creadigol gwyliau, digwyddiadau a theithiau, ac felly mae’r sesiwn yma â’i gwraidd yn ei phrofiad drwy ddysgu sef gorfod codi arian.

This day of training is aimed for schools- teachers / senior management / governors or whoever the fundraising may fall to, creative practitioners and artists working in schools.

If so this is the course for you!

By the end of this workshop you should be able to:

  • research a range of funders to help you assess which, if any, are the best fit for you
  • write a suitable introductory paragraph (or more) that frames your proposal
  • identify how funders and assessors operate and the key processes commonly used by Lottery, Arts Organisations, Trusts and Foundations
  • analyse the diversity of your income streams and identify the potential for additional funding from a range of sources and types(eg earned income, crowdfunding, sponsorship)
  • identify language, writing style and jargon that may be suitable for you

Tutor - Laura Drane
Laura is an experienced bidwriter and fundraiser having brought in sums from a few hundred pounds to a few hundred thousand pounds for arts and cultural events and programmes over the last twenty years.

Her background and work still rests in creative producing of festivals, events and tours, and so this session is rooted in her learned experience of having to raise funds.

All A2:Connect CPD and professional learning events are free and schools in the Central South region can claim up to £150 for supply cover.
