Early Bird £25.00 + Booking Fee - Thereafter 9th January 2017 £40.00 + Booking Fee
We are looking to raise funds specifically to support sports and recreational activities organised by A2ndvoice for Autistic individuals in the community and their families.
Venessa Bobb is currently the Branch Officer for the Lambeth Autism Group (LAG) they are part of the National Autistic Society Lambeth Branch. The group also is run by parents and carers of autistic children and adults and we all volunteer in our spare time seeking for donations, funding and sponsorship in hosting ongoing events and activities for families, autistic children, siblings and autistic adults.
Your money will help support the voluntary work we do in offering a range of sports activities and events for afterschool activities and holidays within mainstream centres and also to train qualified sports coach in autism and disability coaching. This will boost the confidence for the autistic person and bespoke tailored training for autistic people who need 1:1 support. Coaching People with Autism
To fund for 2017
TMI will be the UK’s 1st biggest ever campaign to increase public understanding of autism. The campaign is called Too Much Information because our research with over 7,000 autistic people and family members said that people wanted the public to understand that they could be overwhelmed by things like unexpected changes, sensory changes and that they may need extra time to process information as well as potentially getting anxious or having meltdowns.
Different perspectives of Autism
We will be hosting our guests with various entertainment throughout the evening including a live auction, a raffle competition and live entertainment. Our passion is to continue to highlight and build the awareness of Autism in our society and would very much welcome your support in raising awareness and to be part of this great event.
