Description

Advocates for International Development (A4ID)

A4ID is a global charity that believes the law can, and should, be used more effectively to eradicate global poverty. We work to use the law and the skills of lawyers towards international development, and we encourage and empower lawyers to engage with crucial issues surrounding development, human rights and environmental sustainability.

Training programme

The programme is aimed at practising lawyers, and anyone with a strong interest in the role the law plays in the development agenda. It aims to explore the role of the law in promoting fair and sustainable development, and is taylored to the needs of lawyers and the context of their work.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from A4ID for their development record, which may be used for CDP records.

The course is spread over 3 months, one full weekend day per 3 weeks. You can attend the whole programme, a combination of modules or one individual module.
