WORKSHOPS:
NINTENDO LABO: RC CAR
Hosted by Plug 'N Play

This workshop will allow people to create their very own Nintendo Labo RC Car. Take out the cardboard, put it together and watch your creation come to life, using the Nintendo Switch pad as a remote control. The Joy-Cons is what helps your RC Car move, thanks to its HD Rumble.
We will also provide materials so that you can decorate your RC Car and make it look even better!

VIDEO GAME STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
Hosted by Mayamada

Join Nigel, co-founder of creative manga brand Mayamada, who'll be leading a fun and interactive session to create video game characters and stories.
This workshop is for video game creators and storytellers who want to make great stories in their games.

The session will go through the following:
- Discussion of Story & Characters
- Video Game Character Design
- Developing Your Character's Story
- Plotting and Storyboarding

If you already have a story in mind, bring it with you! You will get value from this session, whether you already have a game and character idea in mind, or you're starting from scratch
--

We will be hosting a charity raffle during the event (£1 per raffle ticket, maximum 5 per person) and all money made from the raffle will be donated to Special Effect.

Special Effect is a charity that modifies and create equipment so people with disabilities can enjoy gaming. By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, Special Effect finds a way to put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities.

This event is supported by Mayamada and Kurisu Catering.
