Join Sew Mrs Bee at Coda Music and Arts Trust for this exciting 6 week course starting on Tuesday 16th September, where you will start your journey into the wonderful world of sewing by machine. If you have a sewing machine but don't know what to do with it - this class is perfect for you. Mrs Bee (Nancy) will guide you through the basics of sewing, from threading a needle to creating simple stitches. By the end of the 6 weeks you will have made a simple garment. Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn a new skill in a fun and supportive environment. Don't miss out on this opportunity to start your sewing journey!

This is a 6 week course, every Tuesday lunchtime from 12pm-2pm at Coda Music Arts Trust in their brand new Art Studios. This course is for the complete novice/beginner. Bring your sewing machine, any sewing equipment you have and oodles of enthusiasm!

The studio is very accessible with easy level access to the large carpark.

Ideally, you will bring your own machine, but if you do not have one we can loan one to you for the session. You will need to notify us prior to the sessions.

2m of fabric and a paper pattern to fit you, are both included in the price.

I have never used a sewing machine before, is this the class for me?

Yes! this is exactly the class for you - we will help gain your confidence on using a sewing machine.

What do I need to bring?

in the first week bring your sewing machine - with all accessories and any relevant sewing equipment you may have - scissors needles etc. We will then discuss what you will need going forward. You should also bring a notepad and pencil too. All fabrics are included in your fee.

Do I need to attend all 6 classes?

Yes. This is a progression course, not something you can just drop in and out of. If you are ill or have an emergency we will obviously be understanding, but ideally you will attend all 6 sessions to achieve your full potential.
