Can I apply on the day?

Our friendly Admissions Team will be on hand to support you in submitting an application during the event. We recommend applying early, to secure your offer to study as some courses are very popular.

Will there be refreshments?

Refreshments will be available to purchase from our on-site cafe.

Can I see the whole campus?

All facilities will be available to view during our open days, some areas will also have activities for you to have a go at or current students to speak to about their experience of the course.

How many people can I bring along?

As our open days can get extremely busy, we ask that you minimise the number of additional visitors you bring along to the event. This helps to ensure a better visitor experience for all.

Will there be parking on-site?

We have limited parking available on-site, which is prioritised for those with accessibility requirements. Full details of car parking facilities will be communicated the week before the event, viable car parks are all within walking distance of the campus.

Can I hear from the Senior Leadership Team?

Our Senior Leadership Team host scheduled talks throughout the duration of the event, look at for signs when you arrive to direct you to the talks.

Do you offer Adult Education?

The Eastern Education Group offers a wide variety of adult education courses, including degrees, apprenticeships, leisure learning, functional and digital skills and more. Our team will be available at the open day to chat to parents looking to study or about your young person's future.

At Abbeygate Sixth Form College we have amazing teachers who provide high quality lessons that are engaging and enjoyable that will provide you with the knowledge and understanding you need to be the best you possibly can. Because we are a Sixth From College all of our teachers focus solely on teaching A levels and they are specialist in their chosen subjects; they will enthuse you, support you and give you the opportunity to flourish. We all need help and support at different times in our lives and our hugely committed pastoral team are there to support you every step of the way. They are here for you throughout your sixth form journey and will be your supporter, to provide the care, advice and guidance you need, when you need it.

A Sixth Form College is about more than just examination results, it is about broadening your horizons, adding to your cultural capital and providing you with a range of opportunities and experiences that will better prepare you for your future. The additional opportunities programme at ASFC offer is extensive and one that changes and adapts every year. We know that Universities and employers are looking for more than just grades and we know the benefit of participating in a range of activities so I would encourage you to participate and even bring your own new ideas to the College.
