Event description

Description

The 100 million youth entering the African labor market will be unemployed by 2030 if current trends continue, according to the African Development Bank. The potential for the renewable energy sector to provide secure and high-quality jobs is staggering, and yet is not being explored to it's full potential.

ABC Connect in July 2019 will be a roundtable discussion focusing on investment possibilities and job creation in the African renewable energy sector. We will be hearing from industry experts, successful entrepreneurs and those with access to finance and investment.

You can expect:

  • Industry knowledge from experienced professionals

  • Real-life stories of successful entrepreneurs in the renewable energy sector

  • Tips on access to finance opportunities for renewable energy

  • Networking with industry insiders

Our guest speakers include Mariama Kamara of Smiling Through Light, and Peter Weston of Energy 4 Impact. We will be announcing more very shortly!
