Event description

Description

Protecting intellectual property is essential for charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

We are bringing specialist training to Barking and Dagenham. This is your opportunity to hear from, and ask questions of, leading London-based law firm Russell-Cooke who are experienced in advising charities.

Victoria Ehmann, associate at Russell-Cooke will be:

  • Outlining the different types of intellectual property
  • Explaining the different between Ownership v Authorship of intellectual property
  • Setting out what can you protect in terms of intellectual property and how you do it
  • Reviewing copyright and registered trademarks

The session will be full of practical tips and case studies to help you apply your knowledge day-to-day.

We would like to make the training as accessible as possible, please contact us if there is anything we need to do to support your access needs.

The training is free for all voluntary and community sector organisations in all boroughs. It is open to public or private sector organisations at a cost of £50 per delegate. If you are interested in a public or private sector booking, you can reserve a place here but please contact us.
