- Experts, lived experience creatives, young people and economists will lead a discussion about a new resilience, protection for freelancers and how creative communities can be strengthened in a crisis.
- Case studies, scenario planning and solutions will be set-out with open and frank Q&A sessions.

12:40 – 13:00: Nelson Navarro, Rapper, Producer, Community Musician
Nelson will be sharing how the city supported him in his career and what projects and collaborations are being implemented to support and inspire young people in Brighton.
Emerging from the ashes of chaos is a brilliant time to recraft your personal order. You'll get to dissect the importance of:
- How you take inspiration when you’re "down bad"
- How you choose those who are helping you grow
- How you can go faster alone, and further together
13:00 – 13:20: Dr Josh Siepel, Lead AHRC Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre work on Creative Clusters, Innovation and Access to Finance
Josh will be discussing his research findings on how the creative sector has been impacted by the pandemic both in Brighton and across the UK.
13:20 – 13:40: Dave Moutrey, Director and Chief Executive, HOME Manchester
Dave will share how Manchester’s creative sector reacted to the pandemic, how businesses joined forces to support the creative sector and the importance of collaboration and civic responsibility of arts and cultural organisations
13:40 – 14:00: Dr Sophie Cook, Author, Speaker, Broadcaster, Football Manager
Sophie will discuss the importance of self-reliance and self-care; the potential of clusters and communities; city eco-systems and how Brighton could emerge stronger
14:00 – 14:25: Panel discussion and audience Q&A
14:25- 14:30: Closing remarks and close
