This workshop is open to all types of bodyworkers, midwives and doulas .

Dr Rosita Arvigo worked closely with her local community in Belize helping families across generations. She loved nothing better than massaging babies in the belly, watching them grow after birth and then later supporting them as they created families of their own.

As Abdominal Therapy practitioners we also love to meet people at the start of their pregnancy journey.

In this class you will:

Investigate some of the common causes of discomfort during pregnancy and learn how to alleviate them.

Learn the anatomy and physiology of the pregnant body and why our work can transform your clients experience of pregnancy

Learn how to apply our techniques in a side-lying position suitable for all stages of pregnancy and into postpartum

Learn a safe treatment that can start from the moment your client discovers they are pregnant

Learn how to teach your clients a simple self care massage to be used throughout their pregnancy

Learn how to support your clients as they prepare for birth and how to sign post them towards useful tools and resources

Discover the importance of postpartum care and why it can make a difference from early parenthood through to later life

Become part of a vibrant community of therapists who take care of each other and share a collective deep well of knowledge and resources

Dr Rosita Arvigo will be teaching this class in person alongside Hilary Lewin, Louise Crockart and Amanda Porter.

Five day class for those who have not previously trained with the ATC £1100. Starting Monday 13th - 17th October 2025

Deposit is non-refundable.

50% refund of remaining balance if cancelled within 1 month before class.

No refunds if cancelled within 2 weeks of class although we may be able to transfer you to another class within 2 years.
