Are there allocated Blue Badge car parking spaces?

YES, there is an area reserved for Blue Badge holders. when arriving at car park please make yourself known to the car parking stewards and have your Blue badge ready to display in your vehicle. This is on a first come basis.

Which bus do i take to Hazlehead Park?

The number 11 bus orange line operated by First Bus and X17 bus operated by Stagecoach, both pass Hazlehead Park, refer to their websites for more details.

Is there a taxi rank?

NO, there is not a taxi rank at Hazlehead Park. You should request taxi drop off and pick up from the car park which is beside the Park Cafe.

Will there be Food and Drink stalls?

A range of food and drink from catering units will be available to purchase. You can bring your own food and non-acholic drinks. There will be a number of picnic benches/ patio tables for you to use or bring a picnic blanket and sit and watch the various activities/events/shows.

Will there be a alcohol available?

Yes, there will be a public bar for over 18's (proof of age required). Only alcohol bought at the event bar can be drunk at the event. Any alcohol bought from the trade stalls can not be drunk at the event, this is due to the licencing laws the event is bound to.

What activities will there be?

Every year we vary the children's activities to offer a different experience every year. Keep checking the website for details.

What events will I see at the Highland Games?

You can cheer on competitors in the traditional events such as tossing the caber, track and field events, Tug Of War , Highland dancing, solo piping, Pipe Band competition, Mascot challenge and also mass pipe bands marching around the arena at 1.00pm and 5pm (weather dependant).

Will there be a Park & Ride site?

There will be a Park and Ride service operating from Kingswells Park & Ride site and also a service operating from the City Centre. (see website for more information).
