Event Details

Following a successful Scottish Older People’s Assembly event in June, we are hoping to start a forum for older people in Aberdeen. This first meeting will be a chance to shape the forum, its aims and its format. Its overall purpose will be to ensure that older people’s voices are heard. This may include:

• Highlighting areas of concern and communicating these to decision-makers
• Helping people use their skills and experience to develop solutions
• Promoting opportunities for active citizenship
• Using technology to engage more people

What the Forum will look like depends on who gets involved and what they want to focus on – it depends on YOU.
Please come along to help create a space in Aberdeen for older people’s voices to be heard.

For more information, please contact Myshele Haywood on mhaywood@grec.co.uk or 01224 576791.
