Aberlady Bay LNR – from sea to tree and everything in between
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for this evening talk by John Harrison, Warden at Aberlady Bay Local Nature Reserve in East Lothian.
Aberlady Bay was designated a Local Nature Reserve in 1952 and comprises a range of habitats from low water right through to salt marsh and sand dune systems. These habitats in turn support a wealth of wildlife – from diminutive plants to the unmissable 30,000 plus Pink-footed Geese which make Aberlady their home during the autumn months. John's talk will give an introduction to the reserve, its wildlife and the ongoing management of the site.
The webinar will be hosted on Zoom and we will send out joining instructions prior to the event.
Duration: 50 minutes, including question time.
Booking essential.
Cost: Choose either the free ticket type or the donation ticket type (minimum donation £1). Donations received will support TWIC's work in arranging workshops and public events.
