Event description
Abolitionist Reading & Discussion Group - to inform collective strategy and abolitionist movement-building

About this Event

There has been a huge uptake in interest in abolitionist principles as we see abolition enter mainstream conversation. Let’s come together in imagining societies that prioritise community, safety and health, and work towards building those worlds we want to see.

We recognize that these discussions can be difficult—either triggering our traumatic experiences or challenging long-held beliefs. As facilitators, we vow to be in the struggle together, providing support and guidance through these moments.

There will be food and time to chat and get to know each other in between our reading discussion. Food will be vegetarian but please let us know if you have any other dietary requirements! You’re also welcome to bring food to share if you’d like to.
