Accepted Answer

Yes. The whole idea is to align existing societal development and focus attention onto the VCSEs who provide services/projects. This allows other businesses to see this and join-in.

Question 2

How does Public Sector Procurement join-up and what does this mean for suppliers?

Accepted Answer

Police, Fire, Councils and NHS Trusts strategically align within the Framework. They use this structure to look for evidence of supplier social value and impact, from across the Thames Valley. No more self-reporting of social value on contracts, the evidence is within the Framework.

Question 3

Is there a cost to enter the Framework?

Accepted Answer

Only businesses pay to join the Framework, as a member of Pluggin's main UK membership body. This gives a business access to 12 UK regions (including the Thames Valley).

Question 4

When you  say VCSEs get support, what does this mean?

Accepted Answer

The Framework uniquely connects VCSEs across a region, within 3 social impact themes and supports them to build capability, capture the evidence of impact and then promote this far and wide. The purpose is to ensure VCSEs can sustain and grow their activities.

Question 5

What if we are a supplier but don't want to join the Framework?

Accepted Answer

This is optional for public sector suppliers, we recognise that large organisations have established social value teams and activity. However, this is a community-led Framework and suppliers not involved won't enjoy the benefits of being seen and recognised by public sector and residents.

Question 6

How does Pluggin make money to do this?

Accepted Answer

As a social enterprise we trade to sustain our business for social purpose and deliver our stated impact across the UK. We're a B2B social impact agency service, companies pay an annual membership to get-into our UK Framework and have full access to 12 UK regions. This covers our operating costs.
