About Us is a Photography and Storytelling project for residents aged 60 and over living in and around London W12.

About this event

About Us is a photography and storytelling project for residents aged 60 and over living in and around London W12.

The project 'About Us' will provide participants with an encompassing space in which to make new friends and learn Photography and Storytelling.

Participants will be making their own photo-book with their photo-stories of each other and they will receive a copy for them and for friends and family.

The project is 8 weeks long and it will run weekly starting from the13 May 2021 at 10:30am at the Ravenscourt park Glasshouses.

Participants will learn:

Basic Photography, including portraiture, environmental portraiture, image sequencing

Learn approaches and methods in producing a photo-story

Learn how to built a photo story via interviews, photography, writings

Learn how to develop ideas for a photo story

Learn how to visually translating emotions into images

Learn how to develop a photo story from home

Editing a photo book

We will provide equipment for those that do not have a camera or camera phone.
