Abstract Art Workshop at Sonder, Leeds

This workshop will be held in the beautifully designed space of Layers x Sonder in the Grand Arcade, Leeds City Centre. Saturday 22nd November 1.30pm-4.00pm

This imaginative and fun workshop will lead you through a series of different somatic art exercises to get your creativity flowing. You’ll be drawing and painting in abstract ways to create a set of artworks on paper.  Working in charcoals, pencil and acrylic paint, you’ll learn different mark making techniques and be inspired to continue creating at home. We will be drawing to sounds, using objects from nature and generally getting inspired by colour, shape and form.

Led by abstract artist, Rachel Sedman, you’ll leave with a set of your own artworks and techniques to carry your creativity further!

Suitable for all from beginners to experienced creatives!  Wear suitable clothing as some of the materials used can mark your clothing.

2.5 hours long with breaks for drinks. 1.30 -4pm
