Welcome to the next Alpine Club Peak District winter lecture of the season.

This time Jay Whiting joins us to share his story about becoming the youngest Brit to climb the Everest Triple Crown in a single season. The Everest Triple Crown involves summiting Nuptse (7,861m), Everest (8,848m), and Lhotse (8,516m) in a single climbing season, a complex and incredibly challenging feat.

Our Winter Lecture Series is open to everyone—both Alpine Club members and non-members. Whether you're passionate about daring expeditions, fascinated by gripping climbing stories, keen to explore the fundamentals of alpine climbing, or simply eager for an evening of adventure, we warmly invite you to join us.

This year, tickets will be managed via Eventbrite. Tickets are £5 for non-members, while members can secure their free tickets using a code that will be emailed two weeks before general sales begin.
