ACAA Contract Launch Ceremony in Brent

Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Support for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (“UASC”) and former UASC in the London Borough of Brent.

An Introduction to our new Contract Funded by Brent Council

EVENT OBJECTIVES
Join us to learn how this new three-year contract, funded by Brent Council, will support Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and former UASC aged 16-21 in Brent through emotional wellbeing, mental health care, and integration services.

The London Borough of Brent is currently home to 37 UASC and 166 former UASC (as of November 2024). Many of these young people have endured conflict, loss, separation from family and displacement, and now face isolation, language barriers and emotional trauma.

The programme will offer a safe space, therapeutic and one-to-one support, and pathways to education and employment, helping young people overcome trauma, build resilience, and find belonging as they rebuild their lives.

About ACAA:
