Who's it for?

  • Primarily aimed at Early Career Researchers including PhD students, within EEE at Strathclyde
  • Anyone who is a parent, or who might be a parent in the future
  • We welcome dads, mums, partners, adoptive and step-parents, parents-to-be, and especially - anyone who's not a parent but would like more information
  • All welcome! Including colleagues at other stages in their career or student journey, or from other departments

What's in the session?

  • Part 1 - (40 mins) An overview of provisions already in place at Strathclyde to enable parenting while working & studying here
  • short tea break
  • Part 2 - (40 mins) Informal peer discussion in breakout rooms. Can you really "do it all"? Chat with a few RAs and PhDs.
